Photos from Latest Moss Landing Battery Fire September 2022

​These pictures was taken of Moss Landing in Monterey County CA during the September 2022 fire that broke out at the Battery Energy Storage. This was the 3rd fire in 3 years and was a Tesla Megapack that caught fire and shut down an 8 mile stretch on Highway 1 and a 4 mile area was told to shelter in place. Residents were instructed to turn off their HVAC system to outside air due the the toxins released. Most of the area was farmland and some businesses, not like the site here that has a large subdivision.
